FINALLY got my period yesterday...... 17 days late, but thank god its here. i was getting myself so worked up and was actually considering taking a second home pregnancy test. see the weird thing is all the symptoms of pregnancy are pretty exactly the same symptoms of severe PMS so i didn't know what the fuck was going on with my body. of course i'm searching for information all over the internet and everything i read points to what i don't want to hear. my diet//exercise routine has not changed so it couldn't be that causing the delay. and of course i have been stressed lately but i'm ALWAYS stressed; i'm trying to keep a small business afloat in a recession and a time when everyone prefers to shop either online or at corporate chains (fuck you hot topic, gadzooks, and all other cheap and embarassing exploiters of alternative culture). so yeah i've been pretty stressed for the past 2 years solid. but why has my period always remained on schedule before?? a doctors appt. is now on the ever-growing list of things to do.

in other news, wednesday was my 33rd birthday. isn't that ridiculous??? i surely act like i'm 24 years old. i never thought i would even make it to my 30's and trust me things just get lamer & lamer every year.

today already sucks and it's only just begun..... it totally does not feel like halloween, my computer says 74 degrees, and for fucking november in pittsburgh thats hot as hell. on a more positive note at least i am bartending the halloween show tonight at the pub so at least i'll make enough cash to be able to eat for the next week or so..... the only thing that is even remotely festive around my house are the cute lil frankenstein cookies i bought at a farmers market the other day with my mum. (see how lame i am??) i've been trying to get tattooed again lately but with how lousy i've been feeling i haven't felt up to dragging my ass over to the shop. one of these days in the next few weeks i will though. i think the next set are a winged frankie & his bride on the fronts of each shoulder cap, if that makes sense. i'll post pictures.....
